In January of 2023, a group of our members traveled to India for a volunteer medical service trip. There, they worked with Mata Jai Kaur Maternal and Child Health Care Center. This great organization focuses on women’s healthcare and safety by providing them with quality healthcare, specifically during and after pregnancy. This clinic also provides free physical and mental healthcare for women and children.

Our organization's group traveled to a village in rural India, inside Rajasthan, where they volunteered with the clinic and stand beside doctors to assist and learn a whole new perspective on medicine in the community and the importance of this center. We were immersed in the center's day-to-day practices and engaged with the village's culture for eight days. Our goal was to be hands-on and offer our assistance with free healthcare for the local women and we were honored to take part in this special opportunity.
